Bavarian State Opera
At the OpernFestspiele 2017 4DSOUND designed a large scale system for the Bavarian State Opera in Munich. Installed at the historic Postpalast in Munich, the system provided a spatial sound scenography for the opera [Catarsi] including music by Ludwig von Beethoven and contemporary composer Benedikt Brachtel.
The real-time spatialization by 4DSOUND software enabled the audience to move through an encompassing environment of voices, orchestral and electronic sounds, exploring the theatrical and musical spaces within the opera from within.
