CASTOR&&POLLUX

"Castor&&Pollux" is a music theatre piece that revolves around key aspects of human life: love, togetherness, death, transcendence, and memory. Inspired by the ancient myth of Castor and Pollux, mortal and immortal twins, the project also incorporates a futuristic utopian vision from Silicon Valley, where humanity seeks endless existence.

Blending Baroque with electronic music composed for the 4DSOUND System, the performance creates an immersive experience that intertwines human emotions and behaviors with machine intelligence.

Set in the historic University of Heidelberg, the piece was premiered during the 2019 edition of the Heidelberger Frühling music festival.
