PART

PART merges spatial sound, movement, and the music of Beethoven, giving way to an immersive experience around the theme of emptiness, fragmentation, and the organic (dis)assembling of dancers, musicians, and spatial sound. The piece premiered at Amare, Den Haag in October 2022, and has toured throughout the Netherlands to great critical acclaim.

The Dutch newspaper Het Parool reviewed it as one of the best performances of 2022: “An excitingly constructed quest that begins in the dark, in an uncanny sound decor, culminates in a flowing group choreography to Ludwig van Beethoven’s Fifteenth String Quartet. Choreographer Amos-Ben-Tal, sound artist Salvador Breed and the string players of the Ragazze Quartet disassemble the composition to gloriously reassemble it before the eyes and ears of the audience.”

PART is a collaboration between OFFProjects, Ragazze Quartet, and 4DSOUND.
