SONOTOMIA
Sound Anatomy of Unique Places
SONOTOMIA is a 32-month long project that seeks to stimulate and inspire members of the creative and cultural industries to explore various digital methods of information preservation in pursuit of raising awareness about the fragile nature of heritage.
Supported as part of the Creative Europe Culture programme, the project is established by Portuguese cultural organisation Pedra Angular in collaboration with Fundación de Santa María de Albarracín (Spain), the Spatial Sound Institute (Hungary) and 4DSOUND.
SONOTOMIA unfolds through three artist residencies that will translate into co-created works of art, composition in 4DSOUND, a sound library, and research dissemination.
