Suzanne Ciani Live in 4DSOUND

A tale of two synths: Suzanne Ciani played live in 4DSOUND at Amsterdam’s Muiekgebouw on December 10th, 2024. Ciani’s “Improvisation on Four Sequences”, which features the characteristic musicality of the legendary Buchla synthesizer, moved through the hall in a 40 channel 4DSOUND system.

This spatial evening opened with a listening piece from the 4DSOUND archive by Thomas Ankersmit, originally composed on his Serge modular synthesizer for Monom’s system.

Suzanne Ciani live in 4DSOUND was a collaboration between The Rest Is Noise, FIBER Festival, and 4DSOUND.
