4DSOUND Composition and Performance Workshop
At the end of August, 4DSOUND hosted the latest edition of its Composition and Performance Workshop.
A select group of artists from diverse backgrounds — spanning sound, space, movement, and technology — came together to deepen their spatial audio practice.
Led by 4DSOUND director and co-founder Poul Holleman, with support from our expert in-house engineers, participants received an in-depth introduction to the 4DSOUND engine and the principles of spatial sound. Much of the workshop focused on hands-on exploration, allowing each artist to experiment with the software’s compositional and performance capabilities while pursuing their own creative direction under the guidance of our technical team.
